Alec Ortiz

I am a student at Cal State Long Beach majoring in Electronics Engineering Technology. I had, what I consider, a normal up bringing, working hard for everything I have. At the same time I was that student who could study the night before a test and still get an A. I carried these study habits for my whole student career, but I learned the hard way that doing that just doesn't work in college. I was originally a Mechanical Engineering major but I ended up slowly backing myself into a corner by getting bad grades which led to my change in major. I became borderline depressed until about 1 year ago, but thanks to my friends and family and the counselors at CSULB I was able to get back on the right track. Since I have changed majors I can proudly say I have not been below a 3.3 GPA.

I love anything electronics. Mainly computers and video game hardware but not limited to just those. I also have a passion for cars, golf, photography, and videography. A lot of my projects in school so far have been primarily coding heavy, but since pictures of coding would be boring I'll be putting up pictures of the application along with pictures from my other passions.
